I have never been good at pull-ups and I think the most I have gotten was about 8 in college. I want to lose weight and gain upper body strength so that I can accomplish this task.
What I plan on doing to accomplish this:
1. Lose weight so that it'll be easier. My lowest weight in college was 155. I am currently 185 and I think my healthy weight is about 160.
2. Start lifting 3 days a week. Start with overall body strength conditioning exercises like squats, pull-ups, bench, military press.
3. Starting on 5/1, concentrate on lats and arms at least twice a week.
Do 5 pull-ups by 4/30/11
Do 10 pull-ups by 5/30/11
Do 15 pull-ups by 6/30/11
Do 20 pull-ups by 7/30/11
Do 25 pull-ups by 8/30/11
