I attended UBC FARMADE a couple of years ago and it was a fantastic time! Really relaxed, family friendly, and definitely good time. The best way to describe it is a local farmers market party, or at least that is sort of the vibe I got! Nine out of ten on my rad scale, for sure. I got a henna tattoo, drank great local craft brew from Storm brewing, a brewery located in east van, and listened to some solid local bands.
The first paragraph from the UBC student paper on it sums up my thoughts exactly, "People sipped locally brewed beer from compostable cups. Kids played around a chicken coop as the twangy sound of the agora string band reverberated across the open field. It was a perfect fall day."
