Sweltering, and sitting in a hot humid bus is not fun. But it was definitely worth it! When you look out the window, all you can see is red rocks, rocks, a little shrub, and more rocks. I didn't know how amazed this rock would be. But once I set my eyes on Uluru's smaller cousin, the Toothbrush, I knew that Uluru was going to be a sight. And a sight it was! I absolutely recommend visiting Uluru, and you'll learn a lot of information about the aboriginals on the way.

I also visited the valley of the winds and kings canyon which were probably more impressive than Uluru, but that's because the weather was quite poor and the sunrise and sunset were quite disappointing, but I haven't let it put me off, I will go back and see it again during amazing weather!

I also learned a lot about aboriginal culture. However, when I was walking around Uluru it wasn't really what I was considering. I was more thinking about how awesome it would be to play paintball here!

Got a chance to visit the Northern Territory in September. Went on a bus tour from Alice Springs to Uluru and back in a day. Definately worthwhile, learn out the dreamtime, the magical stories as well as been giving some nature talks from the tour guide. As a bonus, i got to witness one of our tourmates proposing to his girlfriend......awwwwww...... (she said yes by the way)
