Went to LA with Mom and Dad. Visited Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Kodak Theater and the Getty Museum (where I saw Van Gogh's Irises and Monet's The Portal of Rouen Cathedral in Mornnig Light) . Also shopped in the Jewelry District and went to a Dodger's game.

My mother was working for Cirque du Soleil on the show Iris in Los Angeles. We just had to take this amazing opportunity to visit the place:

Venice beach, the observatory, Universal Studio, Museum of art (Tim Burton exposition), Santa monica pier, Hollywood walk of fame, Iris premiere etc.

Great souvenirs and great time!

I still don't know what made me want to go to Los Angeles. I guess, I was kissed by the muse and just did what felt right. So I booked a two week vacation with my boyfriend at the time. We stayed at a hotel and did a whole bunch of touristy things. I immediately felt home in L.A. - no culture shock, nothing. It was wonderful. I got to go back to L.A. in 2015 and had another great time there. The only difference was that his time I was hitchhiking and couchsurfing by myself.

I went to see my favorite band in concert and meet a few internet friends. Definitely worth it.

To be honest I didn't like LA there are much nicer places along the coast that are well worth a visit. Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Malibu, etc. Walk of fame is ok but you have well known and outstanding actors/actresses as a door step for kebab and tacky shops it's not the glamorous place you think it would be.

LA was really nice, but I definitely prefer SF.

LA has a very energetic vibe, has lots to see and do and the people - whilst not as friendly as native SFcans - are helpful and friendly.
