Hold a tarantula

I held a tarantula recently I was surprised at what a nice little creature it was! I love these animals now so go for it, it will make you see spiders in a different light! :)

They r indeed beautiful creatures. However cautions r supposed to b maintained while handling one. They have razor sharp hair which would b prove to be dangerous. Anyways all the best with ur wish. :)

@Ashwin K, that is true! When I held the spider it was at zoo with animal handlers who knew what they were doing. They got us to wear goggles to protect our eyes incase the spider got startled and sprayed it's hair. We don't get big spiders where I live thankfully but I sure wouldn't just go picking them up if we did lol

I was too stubborn to hold one at the Butterfly Pavilion :P lol Maybe next time though x)
(I like spiders and insects, just prefer them not to be crawling on me.. I'll have to admit I regretted it though when my Mom told me that it didn't actually feel like a spider's legs crawling on her at all.. I think next time I visit 'Old Rosie' I'll give it a shot ^^)
