Would like to build a fort for my son - a place for him to hang with his friends, store his stuff, and play out his imaginary world.
We spent most of the summer of 2009 building a fort from mostly discarded or re-used lumber donated or sold at a discount from local lumber yards. It's not a work of architectural perfection, but it did come out pretty well. The fort is a staple of our back yard now, and friends coming over to play gravitate right to it. And only one kid has fallen head-first down the hatch hole!
