Woop! Finally managed to get to Versailles and it was amazing! The palace was huge and the rooms were all beautifully decorated with painted ceilings. The estate was 2000 acres so we had to get a little tram around the gardens (you had to be 24 to rent a buggee). The garden has many hidden gems as well as many other palace buildings. Well worth a visit and definitely exceeded my expectations!

I'm going here on Thursdau - cannot wait!! Was the train journey from Paris easy to figure out (if you went from the city centre..)

From what I remember the train was pretty easy to get there, but I had already been to paris a few times so was familiar with their rail network. Hope you have a great time =]
