What did you witness?

Tiffany Hill-Jones on Jun 22, 2012

I've actually been fortunate to witness a few...a lung tumour completely disappearing so surgery was no longer necessary, someone getting their hearing back after years of needing a hearing aid and someone no longer needing glasses to be able to read....pretty awesome!!

Was this through ministry and praying and laying on of the hands?

Tiffany Hill-Jones on Jun 25, 2012

Prayer...God did the rest!

ZombieGirl on Jun 25, 2012

I have witnessed people in church say they felt better after the priest put there hands on them and prayed...its a load of bullshit. I have gone to 3 different churches and saw the same thing at every church its all a act

File under "I want to believe" (which may well be humanity's most dangerous instinct).

Sorry ZombieGirl i disagree..I saw the before and after medical reports of these particlar miracles

I wish I could believe this. My best friend is currently dying of colon cancer. She has been beating it for five years but last week the doctors told her she only had days. She is now in a hospital bed in her living room just waiting to die. And there have been a LOT of people praying for her for a long time.

I know how you feel Laura. My mom was in a coma and I prayed every night and so did churches in many states. It was kind all over the news and we had people in Montana,Oregon,Washington praying for her. When you have truly witnessed someone die in front of you their is no such thing as a miracle. Some people just get lucky and others don't. I know it makes some people happy thinking that their prayers are working but to me I see it as a waste of time. If it is that persons time to go than prayer is not going to stop that.

Oh wow, I'm really sorry about your mom. That is so sad. You are right, witnessing it puts things in a different perspective for you and I agree, some are just lucky and some not so much. Unfortunately, it always seems like it's the genuinely good people that get the short end of the stick.

ZombieGirl on Aug 02, 2012

it really is the good people who get the short end of the stick. I learned a lot though about that experience and it has made me a better person. It brought me to this website =) I plan on traveling the world and making sure i enjoy every second I have! The only thing that is a miracle is the fact that we get up every morning to face a new day.
