Learn a programming language

Javascript is easy, so is SQL. I'm not up on the ruby/python train, though, I mostly work on backend stuff - big databases.

Rose, if you're into big databases and interested in Python, give Django a shot - it's truly the most amazing framework out there, and excels at managing mountains of complex relational data.

thanks I'm learning website creation at the min know how to do HTML and CSS just got to think of something that will be useful to people

Yeah, you can't get far without super solid HTML/CSS - everything else you learn will take those two skills for granted. Best of luck!
