Poor tarantula... God bless. Can't you eat something more common, like fried sheep? You know how hard it is to evolve into something as amazing as a tarantula, and especially for one to survive to be that size? Its Really, really hard.

In other countries like Cambodia they eat what they can find I'm sure there's other countries that look at us like we're insane for eating cows or pigs

Right, but a cow or pig is easy to find. A tarantula is a lot harder. The chances of it surviving were so little, yet it did, and then it got eaten for fun. I mean, I understand if you have no other choice, but not for fun... Sorry, I just really have a high respect for life, especially arachnids :)
