Manatees (aka "sea cows") are fully aquatic mammals found in shallow slow-moving waters. They can grow as much as 13 feet and weigh 1,300 pounds! Being mammals, they must swim to the surface to breathe at an average of 3-5 minutes. When resting, they can remain submerged for 20 minutes!

According to experts, they show signs of complex associated learning and advanced long term memory! They can learn task like dolphins!

Soon, I'll swim with these gentle, friendly creatures.

I used to train manatees, amazing creatures and yes they are very intelligent. You are very lucky to see them in the wild.
