A 'braai' is a South African/Namibian BBQ. The word 'braai' is an Afrikaans word meaning 'fry'. The meat has more spice than a normal BBQ, hence the great taste. Usually the 'boer' or 'braaier' (BBQer)can be found with a beer in one hand.
