That's what I'm going to do... temporarily... I want to do them in bright red and then when it snows hang them from a tree and photograph them.

You could volunteer at a local school to read the story and then help the kids actually do it. I had a student teacher who did this with my students a few years ago. It was a terrific experience.

I'm doing this too. I'm planning to leave them at the monument dedicated to Sadako Sasaki in Hiroshima when I go to Japan.
