Nothing beats fish and chips at a beach! Love going to weston super mare or burnham on sea in the south west of the UK for fish and chips :)

Just don't go anywhere it'll cost you more than £4, it'll be rubbish compared to the real cheap and cheerful stuff.

do it, but don't go to a touristy place... as daryl said, if you're charged more than about £4 (although i live in central london where it does cost more but there are genuine chippies in central london - one in theobalds road in holborn, and one on farringdon road in clerkenwell).
