Participate in NaNoWriMo

NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month!  Participants register on the website and then in the space of just one month (November) have to complete a novel of at least 50,000 words from scratch!

The idea is not to have a perfectly written or coherent novel, but to get the creative juices flowing and to get something written down - if you like what you've started you can always edit afterwards.  I've always wanted to write a novel and this just seems like such a fun push to make yourself do it!
