We got to feed the Giraffe's at South lakes wildlife and it was so much fun! The keepers come around with a big bucket of vegetables and all you need to do is lie your hand flat and the giraffe will lean over the fence and take the food from you. They have massive slimy tongues which they wrap around your hand in order to get the food. Whilst the giraffes are being fed you can stroke their noses and their fur is so soft. They are such beautiful animals and having the opportunity to get close to them was amazing!
