It was my spring break trip, through the archaeology department at my university in 2008! This is just a bus ride outside of Mexico City. Truly amazing actually. We also went to Xochimilco, Malinalco, and Taxco. I definitely recommend Taxco, the silver capital of Mexico. The city is actually quite pretty. Seriously though, the architecture in Mexico is amazing. And OH MAN the food, it's sooo good. Try Posole.

Mexico City is a bit too polluted for my taste but the food in Mexico was just, phenomenal. I would love to go back and visit places I haven't seen yet. And maybe Taxco again. :)

I have been there several times and it is amazing! And I love Taxco too. If you liked it, then make sure you visit San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato on your next trip. Not too far, and a very similar feeling.
