I changed my name it's a combination of my original name, late grandfathers name and an abbreviation of my middle name:)

My birth name was Lynda Jane (chosen by my disowned mother). I was known as Lyn since school but still, family called me Lynda.... Yuk Lynduhhhh!
When my Dad died who I was very close to (and the reason I disowned my mother for dripping poison about the kindest man ever,) when she called me a little b****rd from 3 years old and never showed me any affection, I changed my name to Gena Lyn. My Dads name was Gene and I love it, plus if people call me Lyn, it's okay..... If they call me Lynda... I either correct them or ignore them. I do not wish to be known as anything my 'mother' called me whether it be Lynda or Little B'Stard.
